What's up, guys?
Jake Marshall, 25 years old, and I'm a professional surfer from NCS, California.
We're going to Fiji next.
For this event, you all is definitely going to have to bring some step-ups compared to a normal event.
It's definitely exciting to go somewhere new. I'm feeling pretty confident for this event.
I mean, it was cool to have a lot of fun over there as well as we scored some pretty epic waves.
They're an extra pair. My carve wraps were going to be on the boat. Got to make sure your glasses aren't falling off your head.
We're rolling down to Sharpeye to go talk some boards for Fiji with Marcio.
We love picking Marcio's brain, just talking to him about boards.
We're going to go say what's up to them and hopefully get some good info and order up a couple of magic sleds.
General board selection. You're going to want something that can handle some big waves, a lot of power. I mean, they're shaping boards for a lot of different guys on the tour and stuff, so you can be like, What do you guys think is going to work the best here?
Fiji is the last event of the year.
It's been the best year of my career so far, so that's been really fun to have a year like this. B ut at the same time, I ended the year maybe not how I really wanted to.
At this point, I'm just psyched to get one more chance to hopefully post a big result.
